Roles & Responsibilities:
• Coordinate activities of clerical personnel in the dealership
• Prepare daily bank deposit and daily cash reports
• Setup fixed asset and prepaid asset accounts
• Assist with Morrie’s Automotive Group’s standardization of dealership accounting and accounting processes
• Ensure timely completion of all financial statements, monthly work papers and reports, and resolve any issues
• Finalize deals
• Maintain internal controls to insure compliance with company policies and to safeguard the dealership’s assets
• Ensure that the accounting records are maintained in an orderly, current and accurate condition at all times

What You Offer:
• A degree in Accounting or related field
• Automotive dealership experience
• Strong attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
• CDK experience is preferred
• A high degree of professionalism
• The ability to deal sensitively with confidential material
• Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills
• The ability to communicate with various levels of management
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
